So last weekend my parents came to vist me in California. We hung out in San Francisco, went to Pt. Reyes, and did some hiking on Mt. Diablo. We also experienced some insane temperatures. The Bay Area got hit with a heat wave and set some records. At one point in Livermore, our car thermometer hit a sustained 118! And that same day we went to Pt. Reyes on the ocean where it was ~65 degrees. Quite a swing.

A few weeks ago I bought a GPS device, and I’ve been using it for running. I can plot my routes on Google Maps and Google Earth and analyze my performance. I eventually have plans to use the GPS while I ski to keep track of how many runs I ski, which lifts I ride, how fast I go, how long I wait in lift lines, etc. My goal is to be able to sell my results/analysis back to ski areas in exchange for free lift tickets!

SF Giants

On Sunday I scored free SF Giants tickets on craiglist and got to see the Giants lose the Phillies! Durring the game I made this panoramic picture of ATT Park. It came out really well! ATT Park is a great park with some awesome views:
