Last night I felt my first earthquake. The epicenter was a ways away, but it was a 4.4 on the richter scale.

So last weekend my parents came to vist me in California. We hung out in San Francisco, went to Pt. Reyes, and did some hiking on Mt. Diablo. We also experienced some insane temperatures. The Bay Area got hit with a heat wave and set some records. At one point in Livermore, our car thermometer hit a sustained 118! And that same day we went to Pt. Reyes on the ocean where it was ~65 degrees. Quite a swing.

Wow, today it is insanely hot in Livermore – my car thermometer says 114 degrees!
