I’m going to Philadelpha for a a 2k crew race against several other graduate rowing programs.  The only ones I can remember are Penn, Yale.  Hopefully we are speedy.

I got to row in the Head of the Charles this past weekend. It was exciting but unexpected – one of the experienced rowers missed some of the final practices and I got to sub in for him. We didn’t do all the well, partly because we got hit by another boat while going under a bridge. No damage to either boat, but we lost some time. The collision was the other boat’s fault, so they got penalized.
