I further simplified the menu for this website…I was becoming very annoyed by the fact that the height of the menu on the left sometimes does not match the height of the content page in the middle. I think the problem occurs when images are placed on a page without specifying the exact height and width. I think the browser percieves a different size image somehow, if the image has not yet been downloaded.

Admitted students are coming to MIT to visit this weekend. 3 of my friends from NU materials science, and one friend from high school will be visiting. Let’s hear it for Illinois representation in DMSE!
