Chris, Charles, Nick and I kept with the weekly tradition of going to Pete Miller’s on Monday nights to hear Mike Kocour’s trio play. All of us brought along work to do. Some very intoxicated women thought it was “cute”, and came over and started talking to us. They wanted to go up and play the piano (Kocour was on break) and have us start hooting and hollering. It didn’t happen, but we had a nice talk during which Chris tried to explain differential equations to them.
2nd week of class is almost done! I have just a few problem sets to finish up. I gave my presentation today. It went well. Particle systems are cool. I am done with a significant chunk of the work I have to do in 395 now!!
I have a pledge son for rush this quarter – Nick Inns. Since he is currently an only child he’s going to be spoiled!
Wow, so my great class schedule this quarter is offset by difficult classes. I am giving a talk in my 395 advanced graphics on particle systems. This site is amazing – http://www.nextlimit.com.
