Well, a lot has happened since my last post, when the Sox won the World Series. For starters, I went back to NU for homecoming last weekend. NU beat Purdue, so now I have seen NU beat every big 10 team in person, except for Ohio State which I was forced to watch on TV.

I got to row in the Head of the Charles this past weekend. It was exciting but unexpected – one of the experienced rowers missed some of the final practices and I got to sub in for him. We didn’t do all the well, partly because we got hit by another boat while going under a bridge. No damage to either boat, but we lost some time. The collision was the other boat’s fault, so they got penalized.
