Been an exciting weekend with Northwestern beating Purdidn’t (aka Purdue) and the Sox 1 win away from the World Series! And it finally stopped raining in Boston after about 9 straight days of rain!

So how about those Patriots? Somehow the Superbowl wasn’t exciting as the World Series (not that it wasn’t exciting). But who had the bright idea of scheduling the victory parade at 11am on a Tuesday?
NU obviously did not choke, upsetting 6th ranked Ohio State. I correctly predicted the upset with a quantum mechanical proof. I watched the game with NUMB alum Natalie Polito, and both of us wished we had been there to rush the field. Oh well.
